Walking is a great way to get some moderate sun exposure, but it’s not the best way to tan. The best way to tan is by using a sunbed or lying in the sun. This gives you more control over the amount of UV radiation you’re exposed to, and it allows you to build up your tan gradually. Walking is still a good way to get some sun, though, and it’s also great exercise.
