Can I wear sunscreen in a tanning bed?

You should check with your tanning salon that your lotion is suitable for their sunbeds.  Some oils can damage sunbeds or cause slip hazards and the majority of salons will have a policy in place asking clients to avoid using them without prior consent.  If you’re concerned about burning your skin on a sunbed, we would recommend reducing the length of your appointment and seeing how your skin reacts.  Increase the duration gradually, over time to avoid burns.
